The Science Behind Flowpresso
Flowpresso combines three powerful therapies — compression, heat, and deep pressure — to create a deeply restorative experience that supports your body’s natural balance and wellbeing.
Compression Therapy
Gentle, rhythmic compression helps stimulate lymphatic flow — the body’s natural detoxification system. This wave-like pressure encourages the movement of lymph fluid, helping to reduce fluid retention, ease feelings of heaviness or bloating, and support the removal of metabolic waste. Clients often describe it as feeling like a “hug for the body” — grounding, soothing, and deeply relaxing.
Heat Therapy
Each section of the Flowpresso suit can be gently warmed to promote circulation and muscle relaxation. The warmth helps to calm the nervous system, relieve tension, and enhance overall comfort throughout the session. This gentle heat supports the body’s natural healing processes while creating a sense of deep calm and rest.
Deep Pressure Therapy
Flowpresso’s hug-like embrace applies consistent, comforting pressure that encourages the body to shift into a state of relaxation and restoration. Similar to the calming effects of weighted blankets, deep pressure therapy supports parasympathetic activation — the “rest and digest” response — helping to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and restore emotional balance.
